Check Your Remote's Power:
To ensure your Atmosphere remote has power, press any button and you should see a red light. If it doesn't light up, try replacing the 2 AAA batteries or checking if they're inserted correctly.
Remote Pairing:
- Using Infrared: Your remote should always work using infrared (IR). To use IR, make sure the remote is directly pointing at the blue light on the front of the device. You should be able to navigate the screen now.
- Bluetooth Pairing: Navigate to the main menu by clicking the "Home" button on your Atmosphere remote. At the top, click on Settings > Remote Control > and then follow the pairing steps on your screen to pair the remote via bluetooth. See pairing steps below.
- Pairing Steps: Hold the "OK" and "Volume DOWN" button at the same time until the red light keeps blinking repeatedly for a minute.
- Once you see "Pairing Successful" on your screen, you can now use your remote freely, regardless of the blue light's position.
- Remote Reset: Remove the remote batteries and re-insert them, and then try the steps again from the top.
- Device Power Cycle: Unplug the power from your custom device for a few seconds, then plug it back in. Then try the steps again from the top.
- Repeat: You may need to try all the steps on this page several times.
