How do I know if I have an Apple TV or an Atmosphere TV Custom Device?

Confused about which device you have? No worries, we got you! 

Apple TV Device 

This device is a regular Apple TV device, the only difference is it is locked into the Atmosphere TV app. They are the size of a hockey puck, have an Atmosphere TV label on them, and come with a silver or black apple remote. 

Atmosphere TV Custom Device

We created our exclusive device that began rolling out in late 2023! This device has the same capabilities as the Apple TV device and is about the same size but thinner. A remote is included! 

How to Check Your Device Type in the Atmosphere Portal

If you don’t have your physical device on hand, you can still confirm the device type directly in the portal.

Follow these steps at admin.atmosphere.tv:

1. Log in to your account at admin.atmosphere.tv

2. In the left navigation, go to Devices.

3. Select the device you want to review.

4. Open the Troubleshooting tab.

5. Under Device Type, you’ll see the exact hardware type associated with that device.
