Help! My screen is black.

A black screen after Atmosphere TV has streamed for a while typically means your app is crashing. Most of the time the stream is interrupted due to an internet issue and can be resolved by following these steps:

  • Carefully Restart Your Router or Modem. It's important to consider any business-critical systems that might be affected. If your operations rely on constant internet connectivity (like POS systems, cloud-based services, or remote access tools) If you're unsure about how the restart might impact your network, it's advisable to consult with your IT personnel or service provider for guidance.
  • Unplug your device, and plug it back in. 
  • Turn the device on and off then select a channel to see if streaming has returned to normal.

It may also be helpful to check the device temperature to ensure it's not overheating, which can interrupt its ability to operate.

  • Locating your device information: Navigate to your Atmosphere TV home screen (the menu of channels) > Settings > Device Info and take a picture of the screen.
