What is Atmosphere Trivia?

Atmosphere Trivia is an interactive trivia game that plays on your Atmosphere TV screens. Your customers download the free mobile app, scan a QR code from your TV, and compete in live trivia games using their phones while watching the action on your screens.

How do customers use it at my venue?

  1. Customer sees Atmosphere Trivia playing on your TV
  2. They download the free app on their phone (iOS or Android)
  3. They scan the QR code displayed on the screen
  4. They join the live game and compete using their phone
  5. Results and leaderboards display on the TV for everyone to see

What appears on my TV screens?

  • Live 24/7 trivia questions with themed visuals and GIFs
  • Venue leaderboard showing top players at your location
  • Global leaderboard during Takeover Games
  • QR code for customers to join the game

Do I need to do anything to set it up?

If you already have Atmosphere TV, Atmosphere Trivia is available as one of your channels. Simply select it from your channel lineup. No special equipment or setup is required beyond your existing Atmosphere TV device.

What are Takeover Games and how do they work at my venue?

Takeover Games are special live events held twice per week where thousands of players across the country compete for cash prizes. During these events:

  • Atmosphere TV devices automatically tune in to play. No need to change the channel or opt-in. 
  • Your customers compete against players nationwide
  • The atmosphere becomes more exciting with themed content
  • Prizes create additional incentive for participation

These games are short, and your devices will return back to their default programming after around 10-15 minutes. 

Can customers play if they're not at my venue?

Yes. Customers can download the app and play from anywhere, but the in-venue experience offers the full immersive effect with the TV display showing leaderboards, questions, and player statistics in real-time.

Is there a cost to offer this at my business?

No. Atmosphere Trivia is included with your Atmosphere TV service. There's no additional charge to have it available at your venue.

What if customers have technical issues?

Customers should contact Atmosphere support directly at help@atmosphere.tv for app-related issues. For issues with your Atmosphere TV device or channel selection, contact Atmosphere business support through your normal support channels.

Can I schedule when Atmosphere Trivia plays?

Yes. Through your Atmosphere TV business dashboard, you can create custom playlists and schedule which channels play at specific times. This lets you feature Atmosphere Trivia during peak hours or specific events.
