Useful Tips

  • This remote has a rechargeable battery inside. With typical usage, you’ll need to charge it a few times a year. An alert appears on the TV screen when the remote battery is running low. You can also check the battery level in Settings.
  • If your remote is not responding, try charging it using a lightning cable for at least 30 minutes.

Pair your Remote

  • To pair the remote with your Apple TV, bring your remote as close as possible to your Apple TV. Then press and hold Back (<) and Volume Up (+) for 10 seconds. If asked, place your remote on top of the Apple TV to complete the pairing.

Restart your Device 

  • To restart your Apple TV using the remote, press and hold the Back (<) and TV buttons until the white Apple TV status light blinks rapidly (about 10 seconds).

  • The matte black area at the top of the remote is a touchpad; you can use this to move around the channel menu, and gently press down to select.
  • The Menu button serves as the back button.

Useful Tips

  • Pressing the power button once puts the device to sleep (inactive or standby mode). Pressing it again wakes up the device.
    • Purple light 🟪 = sleep 
    • Blue light 🟦 = active
  • You can restart the device in the “Device Info” settings screen within the Atmosphere application. 
  • The Home button takes you straight to the Atmosphere application home screen.
  • Pressing the ‘cog’ button once will take you straight to the Atmosphere application settings screen.
  • Long-pressing the ‘cog’ button opens the Android system settings screen panel.
  • All remotes have two AAA batteries inside. With regular use, you will need to replace them every so often.
  • If the Atmosphere application is unresponsive to remote commands, there might be an issue with your remote’s Bluetooth connectivity.
    • To check the Bluetooth pairing status of the remote and to re-pair:
      • Ensure the remote has direct line of sight with the front of the Atmosphere device. This allows the remote signal to still communicate with the device. 
      • Navigate to the “Remote Control” settings screen within the Atmosphere application in order to put the device into pairing mode so it will be searching for a remote connection while you attempt to re-pair. 
      • If there is an error with the Bluetooth connection it will be displayed here. This screen will show you the remote pairing instructions to guide you through.
